This contemporary decking meets the demands of commercial and domestic use. It requires minimum maintenance and can withstand high footfall and demanding weather conditions. It comes with a 25-year warranty and will not stain, warp, split or rot. It has also been designed to be slip-resistant.
Ecodek® Options & Deck Cladding Ideas
Exterior Solutions Ltd supplies two Ecodek® ranges to suit your commercial development or domestic building projects:
Advanced Technology (AT) Decking – ribbed or grooved deck boards that are widely used as a contemporary decking feature
Heritage Composite Decking – replicating the look of traditional exterior hardwood timber, this range has a flat surface finish
Both ranges are available in five nature-inspired shades; Brecon Shale, Welsh Slate, Cornish Pebble, Highland Basalt and Pennine Millstone. To aid installation, we also supply Ecodek® support beams and bearers. We recommend using these or aluminium supports to form a robust substructure that will stand the test of time.
On the base structure, deck boards can be laid parallel to the building. Alternatively, you may prefer to create an almost seamless flow; internal floorboards to external decking boards, leading the eye away from the building. Another option that works well for irregular spaces is to lay the boards diagonally.

The materials, transport, energy use and packaging have been assessed by scientists at Bangor University. They proved that the process removed carbon from the atmosphere.
Ecodek® is produced from 95% recycled materials with longevity and performance in mind. At end of use, 100% of the product can be recycled. Like us, the company is PEFC and FSC accredited.
