Flexible High Gloss Finish

Deks Olje D2 is a tough and durable finish that enhances both interior and exterior wood. Forming a highly flexible film that moves with the wood to prevent peeling and flaking.

Where to use

• Exotic hardwoods (Teak, Ipe, Mahogany, Movingui, Bangkira etc) new or weathered
• Exterior: garden furniture, window & door frames, gates etc
• Interior: panelling, door, window frames etc
• Horizontal & vertical surafces
• Boats – all applications above waterline

Surface Preparation

• Wood must first be treated with Deks Olje D1 or Owatrol Oil
• Wood must be clean, dry and free of all contamination
• Do not apply Deks Olje D2 if wet weather expected
• Deks Olje D2 is very slippery and is not suitable for use in areas where it will be walked on (i.e. decks) – use Deks Olje D.1 only for these areas
• Do not Thin

Application

• Apply 6 coats of Deks Olje D2
• Allow minimum 12 hours drying between coats
• No sanding between coats
• Allow to dry minimum 3-4 days before putting back into service
• Note: drips and runs should be wiped off immediately
